I was the fifth employee at a company that made games on Facebook. One night, we received an offer to be acquired. I was going to have what I always thought I wanted; tech money.
So, it surprised when I realized I had no idea what I would do with the money. I had no idea what was important to me -- all I had been doing was working. I didn’t know what brought me joy, meaning, or purpose.
I left the company long before the acquisition. Having the space to figure out what was meaningful to me turned out to be my best investment decision.
I started Apteron in order to create a space for clients to find clarity and purpose, and to be intentional with their time and money.
